eMDs EHR Data Extraction Consultant (Remote – 6-Month Contract)

Overview:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced eMDs EHR Consultant to support a critical data extraction initiative. The primary objective is to extract data from the eMDs system and support its migration into Oracle HealtheIntent. This is a time-sensitive project with a firm year-end deadline. Secondary responsibilities may include providing ongoing support for eMDs, including system upgrades and clinical configuration.
Key Responsibilities:

Extract structured and unstructured data from eMDs EHR in preparation for migration to Oracle HealtheIntent

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Oracle's data team to ensure successful handoff and integration

Troubleshoot data mapping, integrity, and formatting issues as needed

Document extraction processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams

Provide optional support for eMDs configuration, upgrades, and clinical workflows as needed
Qualifications:

Proven experience with eMDs EHR, specifically in data extraction and reporting

Familiarity with Oracle HealtheIntent or similar population health platforms is a plus

Experience in healthcare IT, including working with clinical data and EHR systems

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
