Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Wheel Tractor-Scraper Machine Configuration Engineer (Design Engineer)
Primary responsibilities include maintaining overall machine layout and arrangements and maintaining Bill of Material(BOM) structure including all attachments. This position also performs configuration reviews within the Teamcenter-Global Engineering Change process. This position reviews design changes to ensure they are error-free and collaborates closely with all supporting system design teams and with down stream supporting teams such as supply chain and manufacturing. This position works closely with product Platform Lead engineers to review new and update proposed designs.
Typical task breakdown:
- Review engineering Chang Notices in Teamcenter
- Review proposed new design or design revision to confirm solution suitability with overall machine layout
- Maintain Machine CREO model integrity
Interaction with team:
- Close collaboration with Machine platform leads and system design engineers
Team Structure
- Integration/Configuration engineer supporting all three WTS platforms
