As the Senior Food Technologist, Taste Applications, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver cutting-edge taste technologies, support strategic initiatives, and bring bold, market-winning flavors to life. Your Key Responsibilities: Execute the technical coordination of regional HNC Taste briefs by using and leveraging product and client knowledge Ensure efficient project execution and drive the project team towards efficiency and accountability, defining corrective actions if deviating from plan Develop new food or beverage formulations based on industrial standards and country and client specific requirements Establish and run new protocols to evaluate the stability of developed solutions or laboratory equipment Respect good laboratory practices following established Health, Safety & Environment rules Define, with team submission, validation and guides team towards the solution (e.g. Sensory test, Consumer test) We Bring: A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future Empowerment to make meaningful contributions while upholding ethical standards You Bring: 5 years of experience in Food and/or Flavor Product Development Proactive and “outside of the box” thinking Ability to influence others and synthetize information Experience in project management, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to take initiative Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific field required The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $97,000-$125,000. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
