The Sanitation Operator ensures our production equipment is cleaned to strict safety and quality standards. This role handles essential washroom sanitation, including tanks, mixers, pumps, and CIP (clean in place) systems. It requires strong attention to detail, consistent use of PPE, and clear communication during each shift. Your Key Responsibilities
- Sanitize portable tanks, mixers, pumps, tools, and related components to meet strict quality standards.
- Run Clean‑in‑Place processes, monitor temperature and acidity, and disassemble pumps using proper chemical procedures.
- Follow washroom protocols, complete required paperwork, and ensure cleaning tasks support uninterrupted production.
- Perform additional cleaning duties across hot boxes, cold boxes, automates, hazardous waste cans, and workstations.
- Use PPE correctly, operate forklifts and drum‑handling equipment safely, and stop operations if unsafe conditions arise.
- Provide clear shift handovers, report quality or temperature issues, and participate in RCA and continuous improvement efforts.

- High school diploma or equivalent, or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Some experience working with or handling chemicals.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.
- Ability to work around strong odors and potential allergens.
- Able to stand for an entire 8‑hour shift and frequently lift a 35‑lb hose.
- Frequently move, lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
