The Maintenance Scheduler will work within the principles and policies of Manufacturing Excellence and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), sanitation/safety/regulatory requirements and divisional goals. They will assure the efficient and effective execution of maintenance through detailed planning and scheduling, develop and execute planning and scheduling of maintenance and turnaround tasks inclusive of corrective work orders, predictive and preventative work orders, emergency repairs, and operational tasks ensuring compliance within the department.

They will assure the efficient and effective execution of maintenance through detailed planning and scheduling, develop and execute planning and scheduling of maintenance and turnaround tasks inclusive of corrective work orders, predictive and preventative work orders, emergency repairs, and operational tasks ensuring compliance within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Generates a daily schedule for each Maintenance Technician to support PM/PPM completion and supporting operational needs. Ensures Maintenance Technician assigned to task has proper training and/or certification necessary to complete task.
- Oversees emergency repairs and schedules personnel accordingly. Prioritizes jobs based on production requirements; ability to reschedule PMs to accommodate emergencies.
- Capital Asset I Equipment Management - Ensure new equipment is entered in SAP, ensure equipment is maintained in SAP through the E121 process, research and gather information or history regarding equipment on site, assure equipment information and drawings are maintained and filed in equipment room, and communicate to
- Corporate Accounting scrapped asset equipment for removal from accounting books.
- Material Management _(WCM's_I Spare Parts) Ensure new material is entered into SAP, and material is maintained in SAP, through Add/ Delete/ Update process. Generate daily inventory count in SAP.
- Plans all daily PM and Corrective Work Orders, including materials, equipment, labor, and outside contractors when required.
- Manages Front log and Backlog of all Work Orders that are priority 0,1,2 and supports the Maintenance Planner if 3,4, Ts are needed, Corrective and PPMs.
- Assure all documentation is in order when Management of Change is required for maintenance to proceed.

- High School diploma or GED and a 2-year Maintenance/Process Technology degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in production or maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of computer systems applications to site processes, particularly SAP.
- Good verbal and written communication, technical writing, interpersonal skills, participative leadership, and analytical problem solving skills.
- Broad understanding of safety, hygiene and cGMP regulations.
- Broad knowledge of all Maintenance Crafts / skill sets.
- Knowledge of production processes and specific requirements
- Ability to prioritize and follow through on completion of project(s).
- Understanding of Equipment Reliability and Maintenance.
- Detailed knowledge of applicable SHE & Manufacturing requirements.
- Knowledge of site procedures (SOP’s, Safety, Quality, Environment)
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate multiple resources without direct supervision.
- Ability to operate personal computers and Microsoft software.
