Electrical & Instrumentation Technician – 1st Shift Princeton, NJ Join our team as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician supporting our fragrance manufacturing facility, where you'll help keep critical electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems operating safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and process instrumentation to support reliable production. You bring * High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of electrical and instrumentation experience. * Strong communication skills and ability to perform under shifting priorities. * Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ISA, GMPs, and safe practices in chemical facilities. * Trade school, military, or industrial EI&C education and ISA Level 1 certification preferred. * Skilled with 480VAC systems, electrical tools, schematics, and integrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation troubleshooting. * Familiar with PLC‑5, SLC‑500, ControlLogix, DeltaV, Siemens, GE, PowerFlex, servo controls, and HMI platforms like Wonderware and PanelView The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $45.00 - $47.00.
