Support Product Services in the identification and resolution of product quality complaints. Performs normal supervisory functions for the quality department. Work Schedule - M-F, 8-4:30 (these hours may vary depending on time of year and processes involved Data Management, metrics and reporting using corporate standards for continuous improvement. Budget development, local purchases, PM programs, people and resource management to maximize output. Food Safety, efficiency projects, Internal and External Audits, new process validation. Method development, Streamlining, Cross-training, SOP development, resource and personnel growth. Continuous improvement - Trend analysis, Annual RM and FG Spec review and development of specs for new materials, Engagement with customers on FG specs, Engagement with external stakeholders (IFM/RA/REACH/SDS/Product management). High level technical analysis of materials on a recurring basis. Be able to perform duties of direct reports as needed. Analytical equipment (eg. GCMS) commissioning, maintenance, operation and repair. Ensuring collaboration between direct reports and product specialist for periodic and annual BOM updates. RCA of internal and customer-initiated non-conformances and equipment time management to support R&D needs. Compliance with all Corporate and Local SH&E requirements.
