Real Estate Title Escrow Officer (Full-Time) – Gulfport, MS
This professional is the main liaison between real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and any other parties involved in the closing process. You will be expected to process multiple files at once and should be familiar with standard closing concepts, documents, practices, and procedures. You must be able to work efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude.

This professional is the main liaison between real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and any other parties involved in the closing process. You will be expected to process multiple files at once and should be familiar with standard closing concepts, documents, practices, and procedures. You must be able to work efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage real estate closing process from the initial title opening request through post-closing.
- Work closely with lenders, buyers, sellers, realtors, parish and municipal offices, and others.
- Gather and enter file data and review for all orders/contracts.
- Update colleagues and clients on the progress made with property title research.
- Prepare and understand closing documents such as title commitments and policies.
- Delegate and manage workflow for each file.
- Maintain ownership and customer support throughout the life of a file.
- Proofread documents.
- Execute daily time sensitive deadlines.
- Schedule closings.
- Collaborate with the lender to balance Closing Disclosures.
- Manage escrow accounts for each file, including the receipt of incoming funds and the disbursement of outgoing funds (issuing checks and initiating wire transfers).
- Prepare documents/packages to be sent out for recording.
- Electronic storage of time-sensitive documents.
- Experience as an Escrow Closer for minimum of 2 years preferred.
- Have a working knowledge of title insurance issuance.
- Knowledge of Qualia or other title and closing software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel).
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance are required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to remain calm in high stress situations.
- Ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented and professional; able to appropriately handle confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
- Willingness to learn and process constructive criticism.
