Position Overview
The Sourcing Specialist will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and sourcing strategy initiatives. This role is responsible for executing sourcing events, leading negotiations, and partnering cross-functionally to improve efficiency, reduce spend, and strengthen supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Manage supplier relationships and drive cost savings through negotiation and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Lead RFQs/RFPs to support cost reduction and product development efforts
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure performance, delivery, and quality standards are met
- Conduct regular supplier and stakeholder business reviews
- Implement best practices to improve supplier performance and supply chain reliability
- Use data and analytics to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
Operations & Finance Support
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and materials teams to resolve supply challenges and ensure continuity
- Partner with finance to ensure compliance with purchasing and payment processes
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related field
- 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel and ERP/MRP system experience
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Confident communicator with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
