Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager

A growing organization is seeking a Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and deliver measurable value through cost optimization and operational improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong category management expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.

• Lead sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect spend categories, including professional services, technology, marketing, and business operations.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder priorities.
• Utilize market intelligence, benchmarking, competitive bidding, and total cost analysis to support supplier selection and sourcing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, optimize costs, and reduce supplier-related risks.
  
  

• Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Manage supplier relationships, service levels, performance expectations, and issue resolution.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and support supplier qualification activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain functions.
• Experience supporting indirect spend categories and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement-related systems or sourcing platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
