Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality agricultural products and services.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Budget Management: Oversee the procurement budget, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and market fluctuations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of procurement activities. Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
