A rapidly growing aerospace and defense technology company is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive capture strategy and execution across space and multi‑domain RF systems. This role focuses on high‑priority U.S. government, civil, intelligence, and international defense opportunities supporting satellite communications, RF payloads, and mission‑critical hardware.
This is a high‑impact role working closely with program management, engineering, and executive leadership to convert strategic opportunities into long‑term growth.
- Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline aligned with corporate growth objectives
- Convert pipeline opportunities into quarterly and annual bookings targets
- Lead end‑to‑end capture strategies for major U.S. government and space programs
- Direct cross‑functional capture teams through win strategy development and execution
- Oversee customer engagement planning, solution positioning, and competitive assessments
- Provide pricing strategy input and support proposal readiness reviews
- Partner closely with Program Management and Technical Leadership to ensure pursuit alignment
- Maintain trusted relationships with government stakeholders, prime contractors, and key subcontractors
- Drive disciplined, metrics‑based capture reviews and ensure compliance with internal governance
- 5-12 years of experience in federal business development or government contracting
- Background in aerospace, defense, space, or mission‑systems environments preferred
- Proven capture success on programs valued at $10M-$100M
- Strong familiarity with DoD, Intelligence Community, and Civil Space customers
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition frameworks
- Executive‑level communication skills and customer‑facing confidence
- Active Secret or Top Secret / TS‑SCI clearance strongly preferred
- U.S. Person status required due to export control regulations
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and scope
