As a Lead Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public while assisting with daily site operations and officer oversight. This role requires professionalism, leadership, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site Security Officers during assigned shifts
- Assist with shift coverage, scheduling support, and daily operational needs
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
- Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
- Ensure officers are following post orders, client expectations, and DSI policies
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
- Communicate operational concerns and incidents to management promptly
- Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security experience required
- Prior lead, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or management experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must meet all preemployment requirements
