Position Summary

DSI Security Services is currently seeking a Full-Time Flex Security Officer based out of Tampa, Florida.

As a Flex Officer, you will provide coverage for multiple client locations throughout the Tampa Bay area as operational needs arise. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and able to work a flexible schedule. Open availability is required, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through a visible security presence.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to suspicious activity, hazards, and emergencies.
• Complete accurate incident reports and required documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
• Follow all DSI policies, client procedures, and post orders.
• Travel between assigned client locations as needed.
• Participate in all required training and safety programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Florida Class D Security License (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Open availability is required
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform moderate lifting
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must successfully pass:
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Motor Vehicle Record Check
  • Drug Screen
