Role Objectives
The Quality Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed regulatory standards and customer expectations, while also assisting with various operational duties to support the efficient functioning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Develops, implements and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function and reliability prior to delivery
Perform quality control tests and analyses using a variety of equipment and instruments
Document and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, test results, and inspection findings
Identify and investigate any deviations or non-conformities in the production process, working closely with production staff to address and resolve issues
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes and procedures
Participate in internal and external audits as required
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
Manage multitasking operational responsibilities such as inventory management, equipment maintenance scheduling with Facilities and Programs, production scheduling adjustments, etc.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, local and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines and policies
Complete other projects and special assignments as assigned
Skill And Knowledge Requirements
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies and tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality control equipment and instruments
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Education/Training And Professional Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates or bachelors degree in business, engineering or a related field preferred
Proven experience (preferably 3-5 years) in a quality
