POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for providing general recruitment support to ensure efficient and effective recruitment operations for DSG Canusa-Fairfield. The Recruiter will work closely with the HR Business Partner, hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to facilitate various recruitment functions.
DUTIES:
General Administration:
- Responsible for posting positions to Mattr’s Recruitment module (Success Factors)
- Maintain accuracy of postings to third party sites
- Act as a point of contact for candidate and client during the recruitment process.
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the DSG Canusa Fairfield site, not limited to report generation, and data entry/analysis
- Maintain on site recruitment files as per the file retention policy
Recruitment Administration:
- Support the salary and hourly employee recruitment processes; represent the best of Mattr to candidates; perform phone screens, schedule interviews, liaison between the candidate and hiring manager, conduct pre-employment & onboarding activities as required.
- Ensure the successful completion of pre-employment & onboarding activities, including the necessary documentation and procedures in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.
- Point of contact for administrative concerns regarding recruiting-related inquiries, including policy, postings, scheduling, directing employees to the HR Business Partner as appropriate for escalations or complex inquires
- Point of contact for recruitment related documentation and file maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on talent assessment.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment for technical hourly roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of local HR legislation and legal considerations related to hiring (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, such as SuccessFactors (preferred).
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
