Real Estate company based in New Rochelle, NY is seeking an administrative assistant / commercial assistant property manager to join our team. Our company is a small family owned commercial real estate business that is rapidly expanding providing an ample opportunity to grow within the company. We are hiring for someone who genuinely desires to help others, takes pride in their quality of work, and also has the ability to multi-task and solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the company owner on an everyday basis and be involved in all aspects of the business.
- Manage Accounts payable & Accounts receivables
- Coordinating from the office all maintenance related issues at the various properties. Must have great communication skills to deal with both tenants and vendors and also must be very thorough.
- Answer telephones, screen calls, relay messages, and direct calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform errands as requested
- Prefer someone who has some experience looking at a commercial office or retail lease.
Qualifications:
- Prior real estate experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience working with Excel and Microsoft word
- Interest in real estate, marketing, investments a plus
