What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE FACILITIES AND GROUNDS position at DSB Technologies LLC?
Position Summary:
Responsible for specified preventive maintenance duties on physical infrastructure and grounds for DSB Technologies as well as providing general maintenance support.
Position Requirements:
- Performs routine preventive maintenance functions on equipment linked to the facility infrastructure. (HVAC units, air compressors, water treatment systems, cooling towers, facility lighting).
- Assists plant engineer with special projects as assigned.
- Coordinate removal of waste from premises by interacting with outside vendors.
- Maintain inventory and stock replacement of items related to the facility infrastructure.
- Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
- Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Professional and Technical Experience and Education:
- Previous fork lift experience; Ability to maintain fork lift certification.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Previous mechanical experience.
- Ability to work from ladders and platforms.
- Working knowledge of shop tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- General operational knowledge of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and cleaning products.

- Organized, detail orientated and executes with a sense of urgency.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize, multi-task.
