DSB Rock Island (DSBRI) is hiring a Senior Tax Associate to join our high-performing Tax team. In this client-facing role, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to advise high-net-worth individuals, private businesses, and investment entities—while mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.
What You'll Do
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, private businesses, and investment entities
- Review complex individual, partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, and multi-state tax returns
- Manage client engagements, ensuring quality, timelines, risk management, and profitability
- Deliver proactive tax planning and insights to clients
- Build strong internal and external client relationships
- Stay current on tax law changes and serve as a resource to the team
- Participate in training, CPE, and firmwide development initiatives
- Lead, coach, and mentor staff to support their growth and alignment with DSBRI’s values
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex engagements with urgency and accuracy
- Collaborative, proactive, and committed to high-quality work
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation a plus)
- CPA or EA preferred
- 3 years of tax experience reviewing complex returns for high-net-worth clients, investment entities, and privately held businesses
- Proficiency across individual, partnership, and corporate taxation
