$120,000 - $150,000 USD

Key Responsibilities
- Lead cloud architecture strategy for AWS IL5 environments supporting operational, test, development, training, and modernization needs.
- Design and govern secure tenant isolation using account boundaries, network segmentation, identity controls, encryption, logging, and centralized ingress/egress protections.
- Support capacity planning, performance engineering, resilience, backup and recovery, environment provisioning, and cloud cost optimization.
- Provide technical leadership for modernization trade studies, architecture reviews, technology refresh, and cloud migration planning.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, systems engineering, and mission application teams to ensure secure, supportable architecture decisions.
- Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, decision records, and Government-facing technical recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise systems architecture, cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or secure systems modernization.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting biometric, intelligence, or high-availability mission systems.
- Experience with cARMY, AC2SP, ECMA, SCCA, IL5, IL6, multi-AZ architectures, tenant hosting, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience designing or operating AWS environments for DoD, Army, IC, or federal mission systems.
- Experience with RMF, DoD cloud security requirements, identity and access management, network segmentation, logging, encryption, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to translate mission needs into secure, scalable, and operationally sustainable architecture.
- DoD 8570/8140-aligned certification
- Active Secret-level clearance.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional strongly preferred.
- CISSP preferred.
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or AWS Security Specialty desired.
