Instructor - Senior

DS2 is seeking a Senior Instructor who has experience developing cutting edge training products in the defense of the United States. We are looking for a Senior Instructor with 10 years of experience. If you are passionate about developing training materials and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, then we invite you to apply for an open position on our team. Work location is in the DS2 office in Niceville, FL.

Our team supports the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) in its mission to provide a mechanism for inter-service efforts to improve the databases and analytical methodologies the Joint force uses to determine non-nuclear weapons effectiveness. JWS is a key component of this mission, as it is designed to support U.S. and allied military planners in selecting the most effective munitions and delivery tactics to achieve specific target effects. Its primary purpose is to provide a standardized, scientifically-based tool for weaponeering — the process of matching weapons to targets to produce a desired level of damage or effect.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced instructor who demonstrates adaptability, agility, and is a consummate team player. This candidate will be capable of researching, analyzing, and engineering solutions to meet customer demand for flight testing tools and software.  This candidate will be detail-oriented, possess effective communication skills, and have experience with performance prediction, test planning, and test execution.

Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, possess an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance in order to perform this work. Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful award of the associated contract, anticipated to begin in September, 2025.
