To strengthen our Dry Operations team in Annapolis, we are seeking an experienced Operator to join the team.
You will play a key role in running day‑to‑day voyage activities — ensuring the fleet is efficiently employed, cargoes are secured and vessels are positioned where they create the most value.
It is a requirement that you hold US Citizenship or Green Card.

For this position, candidates can expect an annual base salary in the range of USD 105,000–115,000. In addition, we offer a competitive insurance package and paid vacation.
The task that awaits you
You will manage operations, coordinating with internal teams, vessels, agents, charterers and owners to ensure smooth voyages, optimise performance and control costs.
This includes:
- Planning and execution: Plan and execute dry bulk vessels, ensuring optimal vessel performance and adherence to schedules.
- Cargo operations: Oversee cargo operations, including loading and unloading processes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Performance monitoring: Monitor vessel performance and operational efficiency, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Stakeholder communication: Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including agents, owners, vessels, charterers and other internal stakeholders.
- Documentation and reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Problem-solving: Address operational challenges promptly and effectively.
The position is fully on-site in our office in Annapolis.

Besides this, we are looking for a colleague who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in vessel operations ashore.
- Demonstrates composure during high-pressure situations, is adept at overseeing multiple assignments and consistently focuses on accuracy.
- Demonstrates proficient IT skills along with a comprehensive understanding of operational systems and processes; familiarity with IMOS enhances capabilities and attention to detail in data entry is essential.
- Can efficiently respond to changes in a tough industry, modifying approaches and strategies while continuously focusing on advancement.
