School Van Route Driver

We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Mini-van Driver to join our student transportation team. In this role, you will operate a company-provided Mini-Van to transport students safely and reliably to and from school, programs, and related activities. This position requires a valid standard drivers license and a commitment to ensuring student safety, professionalism, and punctuality. This position is working a split shift Monday - Friday at $20.00/hour. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate an mini-van in compliance with federal transportation regulations Transport students to and from school, field trips, and other approved destinations Ensure the safety and well-being of all student passengers during boarding, transit, and exiting Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe vehicle environment Follow assigned routes and schedules with reliability and punctuality Communicate effectively with dispatch, school staff, parents (as needed), and supervisors Complete required documentation such as mileage logs and incident reports Remain alert, attentive, and compassionate while supervising students on board Requirements: Valid standard drivers license. Must meet all DMV and DOT requirements Clean driving record and strong attendance history Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all interactions Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
