Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving company growth through strategic relationship building, online outreach, and diversified client acquisition channels. This role focuses on developing long-term partnerships, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening the company’s market presence both online and offline.
The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable engaging with clients across multiple platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Development & Account Growth- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, clients, and strategic stakeholders
- Identify, pursue, and manage new business opportunities
- Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture long-term partnerships
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts
- Proactively engage potential clients and partners through:
- Email outreach
- LinkedIn and professional social platforms
- Online directories and industry platforms
- Manage inbound leads from websites, online ads, and digital campaigns
- Represent the company professionally in online discussions, groups, and forums
- Support digital marketing efforts by identifying lead sources and trends
- Develop relationships with:
- Property managers
- HOAs
- Contractors and trade partners
- Insurance professionals (as applicable)
- Commercial and residential clients
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings
- Identify new referral and partnership opportunities
- Track and manage leads through CRM or job management systems
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly growth targets
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Assist in developing sales strategies and outreach campaigns
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with online outreach, CRM tools, and digital platforms
- Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional, reliable, and goal-oriented
