Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment to mitigate water damage effectively.
- Assist with cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning and mold remediation, ensuring thorough sanitation and safety standards are met.
- Support fire restoration efforts by helping with debris removal, smoke odor control, and structural drying processes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle damaged structures or prepare sites for restoration work.
- Conduct minor construction repairs or rebuilds as needed during the restoration process.
- Follow established protocols for asbestos abatement and mold remediation to ensure environmental safety.
- Document all mitigation activities accurately, maintaining detailed records for each project and communicating progress with team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry, specifically water damage restoration, fire restoration, or mold remediation.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning and general sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction methods used in restoration projects.
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility around scheduling needs.
