What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Drylock Technologies LTD?
Shift Available:
- A/C Straight Days
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
- Perform testing of finished goods per written test method procedures and guidelines. Test methods may include the following:
- Rewet
- Absorbent Capacity
- Side Seam Bond Strength
- Tab Shear and Peel Strength
- Elastic Creep and Elongation
- Dimensional Measurements
- Visual Defects
- Immediately report defects to the Production Group Leaders. Technicians will be responsible for reporting to Management any other issue, which could jeopardize customer satisfaction.
- Process final release of product paper work.
- Provide assistance and guidance to quarantine any product suspect of being defective.
- Enter test data in Quality databases.
- Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety procedures.
- Complete special assignments delegated by the Quality Group Leader.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Must be able to read and interpret work documents
- Must have the ability to work in teams
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Must have normal mobility, strength, dexterity, visual, and auditory abilities. Must be able to stand and/or walk for a long period of time.
- Must be able to work overtime or on a different shift if required.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Computer and statistical skills as applicable to quality control inspection in the manufacturing field.
