As a Purchasing Manager, you will: :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
- Support the Purchasing Department by analyzing inventory and production data to insure effective procurement levels and costs
- Approve raw material purchase orders that are placed by the buyers based on the approval matrix
- Work with the Buyers to address any issues with materials and or deliveries of purchase orders
- Work with Departments for all Raw Material Transitions
- Research new Suppliers
- Lead the Purchasing team
- Creating and maintaining training documentation for the purchasing-related functions
- Reporting KPI’s to Supply Chain Manager
- Lead departmental projects
- Inventory
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years in a purchasing environment.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with AS400, MRP, SAP systems and Microsoft Excel software
- APICS CPIM certification preferred
- Must have SAP experience
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Must be able to read and interpret work documents
- Must have the ability to work in teams
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures and research methods and techniques
- Knowledge of accounting principles as related to procurement
- Ability to analyze data and make judgments
- Process and detail oriented
- Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of internal and external customers
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors and communicate effectively, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently
- Initiative to seek continuous improvement methods
- Have good problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities and handle special requests

Salary : $60,700 - $76,900
