Warehouse Team Lead – Finished Goods (Eden, NC)
Location: Eden, North Carolina
Department: Logistics / Finished Goods Warehouse

About the Role
The Warehouse Team Lead oversees day‑to‑day Finished Goods (FG) warehouse operations at Drylock’s Eden site, ensuring safe, accurate, and on‑time receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, and shipping of baby pants/diaper products. The role leads a crew of warehouse associates and forklift operators, and drives a culture of Safety, Respect, and Ownership.
Key Responsibilities
People & Daily Leadership
- Assign work, set priorities, and balance staffing by area (receiving, put‑away, picking, shipping, dock/yard) to meet the daily plan and carrier appointments; adjust for call‑ins or unexpected demand.
- Coach, train, and hold team members to Drylock standards for safety, housekeeping/5S, quality, and productivity; reinforce Drylock’s Core Values (Safety, Respect, Ownership).
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Enforce all warehouse safety rules, PPE, and traffic flows; stop unsafe work and escalate immediately.
- Audit areas during the shift for safety, housekeeping/5S, and product/packaging integrity; drive corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
- Follow site hygiene and FG handling expectations consistent with customer and regulatory requirements.
FG Flow & Customer Service
- Ensure accurate receiving, put‑away, bin/location management, picking, staging, and loading; verify counts and documentation (BOL, seal/trailer numbers).
- Protect on‑time shipment performance by monitoring the plan vs. actual, clearing roadblocks with carriers, and proactively communicating risk to Customer Service and the Warehouse Manager.
Inventory Control & Systems
- Support cycle counts, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy (bin audits, hold/release, adjustments with proper approvals).
- Execute/oversee transactions in the Warehouse Management processes (e.g., receipts, transfers, confirmations). Eden operates with SAP for inbound/outbound and inventory; experience with SAP/WMS is a strong plus.
Equipment, Facilities & Supplies
- Verify PIT (forklift) pre‑shift inspections, tag‑out/report defects, and coordinate with Maintenance when needed; keep docks, lanes, and racking safe and organized.
- Monitor and request operating supplies (wrap, labels, printer stock) to avoid disruptions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years in a high‑volume warehouse/distribution or manufacturing logistics environment.
- Systems: Working knowledge of WMS; SAP experience preferred (receipts, transfers, confirmations, shipment processing).
- Skills: Strong floor leadership, communication, and problem‑solving; able to set pace, hold standards, and coach effectively.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain/maintain PIT (forklift) certification; familiarity with dock safety and racking best practices.
- Work Ethic: Reliability, ownership, and respect for others consistent with Drylock Core Values.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking/standing on concrete; climbing in/out of forklifts; handling shrink wrap and labels.
- Regular lifting up to 50 lbs; bending, reaching, and pallet handling; ability to work in ambient warehouse temperatures.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
