We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our maintenance team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and be capable of troubleshooting industrial equipment using PLCs and drives. While this is primarily an 8-hour night shift, flexibility to occasionally cover 2-2-3, 12-hour shifts is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associate degree in a technical field with at least 1 year of industrial electromechanical experience with strong electrical aptitude in fast fast-paced manufacturing environment, OR
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical/electromechanical maintenance with a strong electrical aptitude without a degree
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Experience with Allen Bradley drives and PLCs
- Must be able to connect to Allen Bradley PLCs and use Logix 5000 for intermediate-level troubleshooting (Minimal programming required, but ability to navigate ladder logic and fault codes is necessary)
- Must be able to navigate Windows applications (word, ppt, excel, teams, outlook)
- Must be good at working within a team
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes in a fast-paced production setting
- Skill in oral/interpersonal communications
- Good record-keeping for work orders, parts orders, inventory, and service/tenant follow-up
- Familiarity with tools required to perform job function (mechanical hand tools, calipers, thermometers, megohmmeters, ammeter,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics and intermediate programming ability (Allen Bradley / Logix 5000)
- Familiarity with vision systems and metal detectors
- Prior work experience in a food-grade or regulated manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Technicians work 2-2-3 x 12-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts.
