Dryer Vent Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dryer Vent Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and installing dryer vent systems for residential clients. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose dryer vent systems for blockages, damage, or inefficiencies
• Clean dryer vents using specialized equipment to ensure proper airflow and fire prevention
• Repair or replace damaged vent sections, including ductwork, termination caps, and booster fans
• Install new dryer vent systems in accordance with local codes and manufacturer guidelines
• Educate customers on maintenance and proper dryer vent care
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions
• Adhere to safety standards and company protocols
• Travel to customer locations using a company vehicle
• Keep tools and equipment in clean and working condition

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in HVAC, appliance repair, or ductwork preferred (but not required – we provide training)
• Ability to use hand tools, ladders, and vent-cleaning equipment
• Comfortable working in tight spaces, attics, or crawlspaces
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work on rooftops, ladders, or in confined areas
• Stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
