Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service is very beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track orders and handle special instructions.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfort with using computers, including touch screen applications and point of sale systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve customer complaints or issues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and occasionally at our other location.
Job Tasks/ Responsibilities
- Maintain a high degree of regular and punctual attendance.
- Greeting Customers: Making a positive first impression by welcoming customers as they enter the store.
- Receiving Items: Accepting garments and other items for cleaning, tagging them accurately, and noting any special instructions or stains.
- Customer Interaction: Answering customer questions about services, prices, and cleaning processes. Providing advice on stain removal and fabric care.
- Handling Transactions: Processing payments, whether in cash or by credit card, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Telephone Communication: Answering phone calls, and providing information about services, orders, pricing, location, etc.
- Order Management: Keeping track of incoming and outgoing orders to ensure timely and accurate service. Assisting in the completion of orders by bagging and racking.
- Problem Resolution: Addressing customer complaints and working to resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the front and back counters and customer areas are clean and organized.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
