Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items for easy access by kitchen staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to streamline workflow during busy service hours
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards to promote a safe environment for all staff
Skills
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
