Rowntree Gardens, a highly regarded not-for-profit Life Plan community in Stanton, CA has engaged Druthers Agency to assist them in identifying a new President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) due to the pending retirement of their current leader. This is an outstanding opportunity to envision and implement the future direction of this exceptional faith-based community.
Founded in 1965, Rowntree Gardens has maintained a focus on providing the highest quality of compassionate care and is recognized by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a five-star nursing home. This is accomplished through the efforts of a stable and dedicated staff, many of whom have risen through the ranks of the organization into key leadership roles. The new CEO will look to honor this legacy of service and maintain the warm, collaborative environment so integral to the spirit of Rowntree Gardens, while also moving the community forward by developing and implementing a new strategic direction and vision for the future.
Successful candidates for this role will have extensive Senior Living experience, knowledge of the California regulatory environment, and be fluent in all areas of community operations. In addition, they will have the ability to develop a vision for the future, strategize the process to implement that vision, and utilize outstanding communication skills to bring others along on the journey. They should also embody a transparent and collaborative leadership approach that prioritizes engagement with all constituencies on campus and exhibits high emotional intelligence. The finalist CEO will embody and support the values of a faith-based community, and will engage with those aspects of community life at Rowntree Gardens.
A Master’s degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or Business Administration is preferred; licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator and/or RCFE certification would be valued as well.
