- Responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the intramural program by aiding in managing Intramural communication, involvement, and operations. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining inventory, updating records of documents such as captain contracts and equipment check out forms, communicating with captains and referees as necessary, recording and posting results of team standings, and managing the campus recreation area in the Findlay Student Center.
- Assists the Manager of Intramurals in overseeing the Drury University IM Leagues page. This is the website students use to sign up for Intramural teams.
- Attends and supervises Intramural games that the Manager cannot attend to ensure events are running smoothly and to support referees.
- Assists with the Intramurals marketing and communication by checking the campus recreation email, hanging posters around campus, and managing the publicity tables.
- Processes equipment rental requests and ensures the quality of the equipment is maintained.
- Communicates with appropriate personnel regarding injury reports.
- Assists the D.Cycle Bike Shop Manager in minor tasks such as staffing the table at the Student Activities Fair.
- Contributes to the annual End of Year report that details involvement statistics, highlights, and reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be proficient with office equipment (phone, fax, copier, scanner, etc.) and computers; including programs such as: web-based programs, Microsoft Office, and email as a mode of communication and documentation.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively to various constituents.
- Must be willing to work both day and evening hours.
- Must be able to work in cold and hot environments.
- Must possess a basic knowledge of Intramural programs and sports.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize, and organize tasks / workload in order to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and methodical manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and others.
- Must be a regular, full-time student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester
- Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year
