Overview
We're seeking an organized, driven Project Manager to lead large-scale capital and infrastructure projects from inception through closeout. You'll manage complex construction work, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-impact projects on time and on budget. Strong backgrounds in construction management, scheduling, and cost control succeed here. This position requires travel and time away from home.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to prospective properties, assess building condition, and help define project scope with company representatives.
- Review and interpret architectural plans and drawings to determine scope of work.
- Prepare detailed construction budgets and schedules covering design, purchasing, and construction sequences.
- Lead the construction permitting process.
- Coordinate construction with project superintendents, DI Supply, architects, and contractors to meet budget and schedule commitments.
- Act as general contractor: source, interview, and recommend qualified subcontractors; solicit and evaluate bids; award contracts based on lowest total cost or best qualifications.
- Maintain project controls through execution and lead project closeout.
- Capture lessons learned for post-project review.
