SERVER/BARTENDERS WANTED for DRUNK SHAKESPEARE NYC!
The hit comedy, DRUNK SHAKESPEARE, is hiring in NYC! We are looking for savvy professionals to join our team of multi-talented support staff. We foster an incredibly fun environment in the style of a secret society & speakeasy. We strive to provide patrons with a unique and memorable experience, so service quality is a top priority. Candidates must have weekend and holiday availability.
Weekday shifts will run approximately 5:30pm-10pm
Weekend shifts can vary, with staff working 4-7 hours between 3:30pm and 12am
This is a part-time position.
While we look for candidates with backgrounds in cocktail bartending and service; Theater box office experience is a bonus, but not required. We are willing to train smart, motivated people. All FOH staff share production and service responsibilities, splitting tips among bar and FOH. We value friendly, hardworking multi-taskers who place guest experience above all else.
Actively seeking employees who are eager to cross-train on Bar. Bartending experience is a plus.
All employees must be 21.
Working as a team, all employees will:
Assist with running box office / checking IDs
Assist with set up and clean up
Serving drinks to guests during the duration of the play.
Assist Bar Manager/Bartender with all aspects of bar maintenance and execution.
Stock bar area, prepare garnishes, light food prep.
Maintain theatre and bar area, running laundry, cleaning and stocking bathrooms.
Consolidate trash in the basement & move to sidewalk for twice weekly pick-up
Compensation: $12.36 /hr Tip Share (tips usually add $15-$30/hour), $17.51/hr for admin tasks as they arise.
