Duties
- Provide strategic leadership for nursing operations across all care settings, aligning clinical practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies related to patient care, and staff management in compliance with HIPAA, Medicare regulations, and hospital standards.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory audits to ensure excellence in care delivery.
- Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to foster a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate medical records management and compliance with medical terminology standards while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
- Drive financial management strategies related to staffing budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency to support sustainable growth.
- Promote a culture of leadership by mentoring nurse managers and fostering an environment of continuous improvement in nursing administration.
- Stay abreast of evolving healthcare regulations such as hospital regulatory compliance and Medicare policies to ensure organizational adherence.
Qualifications
- Proven nursing leadership experience with a strong background in management within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospital settings.
- Extensive knowledge of acute care practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare management including operational oversight and financial stewardship.
- Experience navigating hospital regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA laws and Medicare standards.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, influence organizational culture, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in medical terminology and medical records management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- Valid RN license in good standing; additional certifications in nurse management or healthcare leadership are advantageous.
