Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Project Architect role located in Washington, DC. The Project Architect will be responsible for overseeing design and construction projects from concept to completion, managing project timelines, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and team members. The role includes preparing and reviewing submittals, leading architectural planning, and contributing to sustainable design practices. Attention to detail, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively are essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experience with Submittals and Project Management practices
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensure as an Architect (or actively working toward licensure) is preferred
- Experience with projects in residential, commercial, or cultural sectors is a plus
