Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an AutoCAD Technician located in Annapolis, MD. The AutoCAD Technician will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings, construction drawings, and site plans. The role includes collaborating with land surveyors, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and effective designs. Daily tasks involve using multiple external references, 3D modeling, surfaces, alignments and profiling. Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe software required. Experience with GIS is a plus.
Qualifications
- Technical Drawing, Drawing, and Construction Drawing skills
- Experience in Land Surveying and site planning
- Strong Communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in site design and planning is an advantage
