Development Coordinator (Part-Time, W-2, Remote)
Location: Remote
Hours: 6–10 hours per month (seasonal flexibility)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Development Coordinator to manage the operational side of donor gift processing and reporting. This part-time W-2 role ensures that gifts are recorded accurately, donors are acknowledged promptly (both digitally and by mail), and leadership has clear visibility into contributed revenue.
This position supports fundraising execution but does not develop fundraising strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Gift Processing & Data Management
- Enter and code donations in Little Green Light (LGL)
- Import gifts from payment platforms and ensure data accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized donor records
- Monitor recurring gifts and flag failed transactions
Acknowledgments (Digital & Mail Merge)
- Generate acknowledgment letters using approved templates
- Prepare mail merge files for printed letters
- Coordinate printing and mailing of physical acknowledgments
- Send digital acknowledgments when appropriate
- Track acknowledgment completion
Reporting
- Provide monthly donation summaries to leadership
- Generate quarterly board-ready reports
- Support year-end tax receipt preparation
Campaign Operations Support
- Set up campaigns in LGL
- Prepare mailing lists and exports
- Maintain campaign coding accuracy
- Track campaign gift activity
Qualifications
- Experience Little Green Light is required
- Experience with mail merge and document generation (Microsoft Word or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential donor information responsibly
- Prior nonprofit experience required
Work Structure
- Remote position with flexible scheduling
- Must meet acknowledgment timelines (typically within 48 hours of gift processing)
- Hours may increase slightly during peak campaign periods (e.g., Giving Tuesday)
- Reports to the Executive Director
