Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing courteous and efficient service at the pharmacy counter
- Process medication sales and handle cash register transactions accurately and securely
- Assist with medication intake procedures, ensuring proper documentation and patient confidentiality
- Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization
- Maintain clear communication with patients regarding prescription pick-up times, medication instructions, and billing inquiries
- Uphold strict adherence to medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and hospital protocols during medication handling
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets all safety and hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience working as a pharmacy technician/cashier or in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not necessary. We can provide on job training.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations
- Ability to handle intake procedures efficiently in fast-paced environments like retail care settings
- Demonstrated attention to detail when managing inventory, processing transactions, or documenting patient information
