This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Norman, OK. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to support clients in achieving their developmental and functional goals. Daily tasks may include conducting assessments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting progress, providing education to family members and caregivers, and ensuring compliance with therapy standards and guidelines. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support clients' success and independence.
- Experience in occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and implementing therapy interventions.
- Strong understanding of developmental needs, functional assessments, and hands-on therapy techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records and track client progress.
- Ability to work in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in occupational therapy practice.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oklahoma.
- CPR certification and experience in working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
