Full Time Scanning Associate

Essential Duties:

• Take product weighing between 1-30 lbs. out of containers (boxes or pallets) and place on work station table to prepare to scan
• Verifies product on line against the manufacturer and account number
• Verifies salvage or disposal disposition before scanning
• Verifies with packer that pallet number reflects pallet number on monitor
• Scan product with work station scan gun and place on conveyor belt (height difference from work station table to conveyor belt is about 4 inches)
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed
• At end of shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork
• Perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity
• Ability to grasp, carry, twist, push, pull, and rotate body and arms to lift and move product
• Ability to bend and lift up between 1-30 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds a distance of up to two feet, on an infrequent basis
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and reach for up to 8 hours a day
• Must be able to move wrist in and up and down motion repetitively for up to 8 hours a day in order to utilize hand held scanner
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, noise, dust, and warehouse functions operating around position
• Must be able to read or identify stock and compare to what is in database to ensure correct items are being scanned

General Requirements:

• Must be able to perform all job functions safely
• Must be able to perform damage control checks on product accurately and discard damaged goods according to company policy
• Must be able to maintain performance standards of scanning as determined by product group assigned
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times

Must have schedule flexibility. General hours of operations are 4:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
