What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygiene Assistant (FT or PT, we'll train) position at Drs. Fashing & McCoy?
Our office is looking to hire a dental hygiene assistant. Full-time or part-time.
X-ray certification and completion of a dental assistant training program is preferred but not required (we'll train)
Duties include:
- greeting/checking in patients
- seating patients
- taking x-rays
- assisting chairside
- setting up and cleaning operatories
- sterilization of instruments
- answering the phone
- making appointments
- documenting/scanning information into patient charts using Softdent
- other necessary duties as assigned
Compensation is hourly and will be commensurate with experience. The job hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45 am - 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be motivated to work, reliable, and customer service oriented.
