Medical Receptionist

Our well-established ophthalmology practice is looking for a front desk receptionist. CCTH is a multi-office and multi-doctor practice who offers comprehensive eye care for Knoxville and the surrounding areas. Offices located in: Knoxville, Powell, Fountain City, Farragut, Hardin Valley, Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Sevierville.

Responsibilities (list does not include all duties assigned):

·         Greet patients and guests upon arrival to ensure a welcoming experience

·         Check patients in and out

·         Collect payments

·         Verify insurance eligibility

·         Obtain insurance authorizations, as necessary

·         Process patient paperwork

·         Schedule appointments for new and established patients

·         Ensure reception area is well maintained

·         Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

·         Travel to satellite offices in the Greater Knoxville area as needed

·         Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

·         Medical receptionist for 2 years (Preferred)

·         EMR Knowledge (Preferred)
