Python Developer with GenAI Experience

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong Generative AI (GenAI) expertise to join our engineering team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize AI-powered applications that leverage LLMs, agentic workflows, and scalable backend services. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions for enterprise use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications that integrate LLMs, vector databases, and GenAI pipelines.
• Build scalable APIs, microservices, and backend systems to support AI-driven applications.
• Implement prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and agent-based automation workflows.
• Collaborate with data science teams to deploy, optimize, and monitor ML/GenAI models in production.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) to build secure, reliable, and high-availability architectures.
• Integrate external APIs, frameworks, and model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Python code, pipelines, and distributed processing workloads.
• Maintain documentation, follow best coding practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of Python development experience with strong backend engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, model integrations, or AI frameworks.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, model fine-tuning, or agentic AI architectures.
• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to multi-agent systems, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or workflow automation.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Sagemaker, Databricks, or Vertex AI.
• Background in NLP, machine learning, or data engineering.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
