Duration: Contract 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python AWS Developer with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying cloud-based applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of serverless and container-based architectures, along with expertise in integrating AWS services and designing scalable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python in AWS environments
- Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Step Functions
- Work with AWS services such as SQS, S3, and ECS to build robust data processing and application workflows
- Architect and manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure in AWS
- Ensure seamless integration between AWS services and external systems
- Handle networking configurations within AWS, including VPCs, cross-VPC communication, and secure connectivity to external services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in cloud environments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, S3, and ECS
- Solid understanding of AWS architecture and deployment models
- Experience with AWS networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, security groups, and connectivity between services (within and outside VPCs)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- AWS certifications are a plus
