GCP Data Engineer
Phoenix, AZ – Onsite
Rate Range $58 hr C2C All Inc
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies to join our team in Phoenix, AZ, USA (Onsite). The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable data pipelines, cloud-based ETL solutions, and modern data warehousing architectures. Candidates must be comfortable attending an onsite Face-to-Face interview in Phoenix, AZ.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on expertise with:
- BigQuery
- Dataflow
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Composer
- Cloud Storage
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing
- Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop ecosystem
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts and data scientists
- Implement data governance, quality, and security standards
- Troubleshoot and optimize production workflows
- Improve BigQuery performance and cost optimization
- Support batch and real-time data processing solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5 years of Data Engineering experience
- 3 years of hands-on GCP experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Skills
- GCP Certifications
- Experience with Kafka, Airflow, Terraform
- Exposure to Snowflake or Databricks
