Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sewer to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Upholstered Furniture construction and a strong proficiency in operating sewing machines. This role involves fabricating and assembling various upholstered furniture products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines to stitch, sew, and assemble fabric components according to specifications.
- Fabricate seats, cushions, welt, skirts and other upholsters furniture products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow patterns and instructions to complete sewing tasks efficiently.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse setting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in operating sewing machines and understanding their maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types.
- Ability to sew with precision and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the sewing process.
