Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Develop structural calculations and assist in the production of engineering drawings for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects related to bridge and transportation structures and miscellaneous structures
- Prepare and verify quantity tabulations, and perform design calculations for structures, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparing report sections under the guidance of an experienced Professional Engineer
- Prepare and verify quantity tabulations for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and/or review shop drawing submittals
- Develop responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) in support of post-design services
- Support engineering alternatives analyses by completing defined tasks, including data collection and analysis, performing routine calculations, and contributing to the evaluation of feasible solutions
- Preferred: Master of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; PhD candidates encouraged to apply
- Fundamentals of Engineering (EI) certification or ability to obtain certification
- 0-4 years of structural engineering experience
- Familiarity with using AutoCAD, MicroStation, MathCAD, and OpenBridge Modeler
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
